I am a PhD student at Uppsala University planning to rent out a 15-square meter furnished room in my apartment. The apartment is surrounded by nature yet very close proximity to Uppsala University campus. BMC and Ångström lab are just 7 and 10 minutes by bike (use google map and select bike route). Hågadalen-Nåsten nature reserve (http://goo.gl/7Rfyn3) is just beside our apartment where you can do running, hiking and great outdoor activities. A 5 mins walk from the apartment is Västertorg center where you can find convenient supermarket (Hemköp and Coop), health-center, dentists and pharmacy. You will be sharing a fully equipped big-kitchen and toilet with me and other student. The rent for the room is 3700SEK including electricity, internet. Free washing facility is also available. You need to buy a home-insurance for you (approximately 50-100 SEK). The rooms are available from 2016-09-26. You can rent for short period (not less than 3 month) or long period. Last months rent and a deposit of 2500SEK is need for confirmation of the apartment. You will get the deposit back when you are moving out provided that everything is ok. Our apartment is smoking and pet free and we maintain silence between 9:00 pm to 6:30 am. We also expect our roommate to follow the same. Most of the places of Uppsala from the apartment are reachable through either bike or walking. But the apartment also has a good connection to the bus: bus No. 2/7 (frequently go to the city center). We rent the rooms under first come first served basis. We expect that you come and see the apartment in person before signing the contract.
