A comfortable house with a soul and wonderful location in beautiful Röstånga. Within commuting distance to Lund, Malmö, Helsingborg, Eslöv and even Copenhagen. The location is central in Röstånga, yet the garden is completely private and surrounded by nature as well as a small stream. The house is newly renovated in a way that keeps the sweet soul of the house, build in 1917. The livingroom, kitchen, hallway and playroom are joined in an open way which makes it easy to socialize during everyday life. Yet there are many places to withdraw and be alone, with 3 bedrooms and an office room. The garden is big and has a serene feeling. To sit on the big deck and listen to the birds and the trees is wonderful. The barn and boiler room can be used as storage. As we have 2 children of our own, the house is set up with playroom playhouse full of toys, trampoline, sandbox. safety gates, kids chairs etc. In Röstånga centre, 500m away, you find a well-assorted shop, bus station, restaurant with pub sometimes live music, café bakery, pizzeria, flower shop, car mechanics, hairdresser, school, library and a bygdegård which is used for yoga and dance classes etc. 10 min walk to soccer field, small gym and outdoor pool with a waterslide. Röstånga is adjacent to Söderåsen National park with stunning beech forests and miles of hiking tracks. There is also a fresh spring-water lake 10min bikeride from the house. 3km away you find the Nature reserve Jällabjär which is an old volcano Röstånga has become a very popular place to live during the past 5 years due to the strategic location combined with beautiful nature and a village that is alive with different activities and groups. We wish that the kitchen is kept vegetarian. High-speed internet is included in the rent. Electricity and water are paid for separately. We have energy efficient earth-heating for in-house and water heating. There is also an air-to air heater that is usually not needed. We also have a large family car (WV Caddy 2015) that can be negotiated in the rental. We rent our home since we are spending 6 months abroad this winter. We hope you will love it here as much as we do
