I am renting out my lovely apartment while I am doing an MBA at Stanford. This will be the second year of renting it out and I am happy to provide references/contact details of the current tenants (who are sadly moving to London). The apartment complex is built in 2009 and the apartment was repainted in 2015. The apartment is located on the 1st floor and facing the communal garden & playground. It is super quiet if you close windows (great insulation for both sound and heat). It has a large balcony facing Northwest - great sun & amazing sunsets (unrestricted view). It is not really possible to see into the apartment from the communal garden as it is too high up, so no need to worry about that. The apartment has a large combined living room and kitchen area (feels very spacious). The kitchen table is typically set for four people but can be extended to comfortably fit 6-8 people. The kitchen itself has all the stuff needed pots & pans, coffee machine, plates, baking stuff, etc. The living room has a couch for 3-4 people and a relatively large TV with Apple TV. Fast internet throughout the apartment is provided. The bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe and a DOUBLE BED (Note: In photos, it is a single bed, but I have since put in a large bed). The bathroom is large with a shower. Wooden floors through the apartment. The apartment is located on Kungsholmen, right next to Fridhemsplan. This means you can either walk to Central Train Station in less than 30min or take the subway in 10min. The. Subway stop Fridhemsplan is 4min walk away (just need to make sure you exit at the right exit) and you have both blue and green lines there. The bus stop is right outside the apartment with like 10 bus lines including my favorite lines 1, 50, and 54 that will take me anywhere in Central Stockholm. The airport bus to Arlanda also stops at Fridhemsplan. Super convenient There are multiple shops within 10min of walking ICA/Willys/Netto/Coop, Ahlens, Lindex, etc. Vastermalsmgallerian has even more shops. Many restaurants close by too. More info: Fully furnished with stylish furniture all bought in 2015 (i.e. very fresh & modern). Note: unable to provide unfurnished or partially furnished Washing machine and dryer in the apartment (in addition to a laundry room in the basement) Dishwasher Storage room in the basement (shared with me) Terms & conditions: 16,000 SEK paid monthly (including utilities) with 2-month deposit Move-in mid-July (negotiable 2 weeks) 8-month contract initially, after that month-by-month if we are both happy. No smoking and no large pets No more than two people As mentioned, I live in SF but will be back in Stockholm June 9-13 to show the apartment. I cant accommodate any other times and will not rent it out without having met you.
