Room in a 42 m2 Separate Apparment in a House in Stockholm (Rydbo), Available for Rent from February 2021 for Six to Eight Months. Room size 11 m2, price: 6,000 SEK. Hej I am Viktor and I am a post-doctoral researcher in Bioinformatics at the Swedish Museum of Natural History. I currently live in a cozy home in the Rydbo suburb of Stockholm. The unit (42 m2) is a separate apartment (own entrance, own porch and lawn) in a modern house. I am renting the master bedroom (3.10 x 3.50) the second bedroom is rented by another post-doctoral researcher from the museum. From February 2021 onwards, I will be going on a research trip for six to eight months and I am looking to sublet my room. Details The apartment is very cozy, and well-equipped with new stove-oven-microwave combo, washer-dryer combo, etc. It has a high-speed Internet connection and a 55 inch TV with thousands of international channels. The kitchen is well-lit and has a huge cooking area. We have our own porch and a little lawn. My bed is a queen-sized bed (152 x 202 cm), sheets and towels are provided. There is a light-rail station at a distance of four minutes from the house (line 28). It takes exactly 30 min to get from Rydbo to Östra Station. There are also buses going to Taby and to Östra Station, which have similar travel times. The area is very quiet surrounded by beautiful nature and several trails ideal for jogging there is a convenient swimming lake at about a 12 min walking distance from the house. You can use my mountain bike to ride around during the time youre renting. There is a Willys in Arninge, which is really cheap, has a great selection of goods, and is only a 15 min bike-ride away. I am looking to rent from February 2021 through September 2021 (inclusive) however, we can discuss if you need it for a slightly longer or shorter period as the duration of my research visit is decided only by me. The rent is 6,450 SEK per month, which includes all utilities however, the landlords make a discount if we take care of the lawn (mow, gather leaves, keep the alley way clear of snow) and the rent is dropped to 6,000 SEK. These responsibilities are shared with the flatmate. The landlords are amazing and always fix everything and are generally really easy to get along. You can borrow a grill, or different tools, from them. The place is ideal for an exchange student, a visiting researcher, or for an intern visiting Stockholm for 6-8 months. Large pets (dogs/cats) are not allowed, neither is smoking inside the house. You will get a contract (one monthly rent security deposit required) and you can register your address officially in Skatterverket. Under these conditions I am not making any profit: you are only paying my rent for the sublet, so I ask for respectful applicants. If you are interested, please contact me (Swedish is okay as well).
