From August 1, 2024 rent a fully furnished row house in excellent condition in central Lund for 1-2 years. It is a total of 201 m and has 4 bedrooms (6 rooms and kitchen) and a fully renovated basement (4 additional rooms). We are are a Swedish-American family renting our beloved home because we need to return to California for work, but we plan on coming back to Lund in 1-2 years. Area / size 1st and 2nd floors combined: 134 m Downstairs fully renovated basement area: 67 m Plot area (house and south facing backyard): 313 m Description This is a 3-floor beautifully designed brick row house from 1958 located on a quiet and safe cul-de-sac street in a friendly neighborhood in central Lund. It has a full garage plus two outside car parking spots and EV charger. The house is FULLY furnished in a clean, modern style consistent with the design of the 1950s. The second floor includes 3 bedrooms with built-in closets and an office (which could be used as a 4th bedroom) with large windows, a walk-in storage closet, and a full bathroom (shower and bathtub). The first floor includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a door that opens to the south facing backyard, living room with TV and dining room with large windows facing south, and one bathroom (toilet and sink only, no shower). The basement floor includes an additional living room / playroom (could be used as a bedroom or study) that lets in good light, washing room with washer/dryer/sink and shower, a walk-in pantry with a freezer, a storage room, and a hallway with closets. The south facing backyard has excellent light during winter and tall bushes on all three sides that provide wind protection and privacy, a trampoline, and outdoor furniture. The house was designed by a well known female architect, Ingeborg Hammarskjöld-Reiz. The neighbors on Nehrmans väg are friendly, know each other, and provide a sense of community. There are families with children of all ages and retirees who worked at Lund University. From the house, one can walk to the center of Lund in 10-15 minutes or bike in less than 5 minutes. It is close to schools, food markets, restaurants, parks, open spaces, Lund University and Lund-based companies. Terms The renter pays 40 000 SEK per month for rent for at least 1 year (utilities not included). One month rent in-advance deposit. Pets will be considered and require additional deposit. Utilities for renter to cover include: Heating Water Electricity for house and EV charging Internet connection Garbage and recycling fees (paid to Nehrmans väg association)
