Due to work abroad our house is for rent Aug 2018 - Aug 2019. The house is a terrace house from the 1950s in Hersby Åker. With its central location in Lidingö, Hersby Åker is very popular with both families and couples. The nature is right at your door step, yet the city of Stockholm only a few kilometres away. The house has been refurbished 2016-2018 with qualitative materials and elegant original details. It is lightly furnished with modern and exclusive classics and has hardwood floors and white painted walls in all rooms. Two patios with morning/evening sun and a small garden. Fully equipped kitchen, with seating for 6 people. Groundfloor with access to patio. The island, which is reached through the Lidingö bridge, offers a variety of activities such as tennis, golf, sailing, riding, beautiful running and biking tracks, beaches, cliffs, cafés, restaurants, shops and the magnificent Carl Milles Museum (Millesgården). Stockholm city center is reached through the Lidingö bridge only 5 min away by car or 20 min by public transportation. Parking in the street outside the house is free. Stockholm Arlanda airport is reached by taxi (approx. 35 min.) or by public transportation (approx. 60 min.) The house is situated in a calm residential area close to nature and to the sea. Within 1 km is Lidingö Centrum with supermarket, shops, cafés, library and health care. In the winter there are great opportunities for both cross country skiing as well as down hill skiing in the nearby Ekholmsnäs slope. Included i the rent: heating, water and wifi.
