Renting period 2018-02-01 to 2019-06-30 This furnished 2 br apartment is located on the second floor of a three storie building of the type landshövdingehus. The apartment is from 1926 with original details intact that gives it the warm wooden charm typical for Majorna. Bathroom and kitchen are newly renovated (high standard). Pine wood floors cover all rooms except for the granite tiles in bathroom. The bedroom has a king-size bed (purchased a few months ago) and a big window to the south. The living room is furnished with a 6-8 people dining table as well as a couch area, a larger window facing south which makes it bright even in winter. The living room can be arranged with an extra bed. These two rooms face an oak tree avenue which separates the apartment from adjacent buildings and streets hence canceling out noise and intimate views from neighboring houses across the road. The kitchen has a window to the north and the inner yard with a big maple tree in its frame (which is quite lovely to witness in spring and autumn). The apartment is literally a minute walk away from Slottskogen (where you can enjoy museums, outdoor gyms, zoo, cafes) two different tram stops which allows frequent access to the heart of the city and direct connections to central station or the ocean a grocery store (with several more to choose from in the area). Mariaplan with fine dining and casual restaurants, cafes, bookshops, antique/retro shops, pharmacy etc. is only a stroll down the road away. You can reach the botanical gardens and Sahlgrenska by walking or biking through the park. Röda Sten art center and the harbour takes about 15 min to walk to (with a few hidden gems I can share with you). The apartment is apart of a small building community. It has a personal, helpful and friendly atmosphere. This is something we want to maintain and would say is important for the renter to understand. As much as we love animals, no pets are allowed.
