The room is part of an apartment of four rooms, in a three-storey landshövdingehus, a special kind of wooden house from the thirties special for Göteborg. There are 9 apartments in this part of the block, we have a garden, in the cellars there is a well equipped laundry and drying room, sauna. The area is green with a mix of villas and landshövdingehus. This house is situated just beside the spacious park Slottskogen. There are restaurants, coffee-houses, pubs, shops in the area. The house is 10 minutes walk from the Botanical Garden, and the river Göta Älv with the harbor and where you can find Röda Sten the place where the old harbour was situated and you now can find Röda Sten Art Center and also a beautiful walk by the river . The public communications are extremely good trams and buses within 100 m (ca10- 20 min to get to centrum). You can also get to centrum by walking ca 15 min or bicycling for 5 - 10 min. If you want to go to the sea you can take the tram (10 min) to Saltholmen, just to sit by the sea or to swim or take one of the boats out to the archipelago. The room is ca 10 kvm with bed, desk, a small table, two comfortable chairs, bookshelves, cupboard, bureau. You are of course welcome to use the kitchen. In the cellars there is a laundry-space with three washing-machines etc, bastu/sauna. The house has a garden where one when its warm can sun bathe, play croquet on the lawn, have barbecue, etc. The area is green, very idyllic and quiet. My daughter, the cat and I are fairly quiet as well and are a bit bohemian in our life-style. Im a musician and my daughter is studying art and science. I work at home teaching singing (max 2-3 hours a day, probably while you are at the University/Chalmers), together with my other work and studying. We would like a female tenant, someone who is happy to live in a quiet way. Non smoker. We speak English. The rent should be paid in advance. You need to pay a deposit before admission. It may be possible to rent the room for more than one term.
