We are a young couple who are looking to rent out a room in our cosy apartment over the autumn term (approximately August-January). During this time we will both be studying at university as well (Mandarin and Law). The apartment is located in central Gothenburg, in the beautiful district of Majorna, and there are three tram stops within convenient walking distance, the closest being a 2 minute walk. These enable you to get into the city center within 15-20 minutes. There is even a direct tram line to Chalmers, which takes about 15 minutes in the morning. There are also multiple grocery stores nearby, the closest being right across the road, as well as a handful of bars, cafes, and takeaway restaurants. The apartment itself is around 90 square meters, with a bathroom with shower, a TV in the common living room, full high-speed wifi access, heating, and a kitchen with full amenities. There are also two washing machines and a tumbler in the building, which are are of course free to use as needed. The room we are renting is quite small (around 10sq meters), but comes with a bed (190x80cm), space to store clothes, bookshelves, a desk, a desk chair, and a stereo (can of course be moved out if unwanted). We are looking for someone who is clean and organized, preferably either Mandarin- or French-speaking, although this is by far not a must.
