Access to the island is either by ferry or private boat. During the winter (Nov-Apr), there is a footbridge to Stocksund. The house was renovated in 2016 and consists of 7 rooms. The house is let fully furnished for 2 years due to a move abroad. There are chargers for electric cars. There are also moorings in Ropsten and in Lilla Skuggan. A boat pool, where we collectively own a number of rowboats, allows you row across the strait to Stocksund where it is the narrowest, about 100 m. In the winter, a footbridge with railings is laid out across the strait from the island to Svanholmsparken in Stocksund. The SL boat operates on the island daily all year round from Ropsten with connections further towards Nybroviken, and from Ekudden in Djursholm. In Ropsten you change to a bus or subway.
