Located in the very center of Lund, this loft (3rd floor) apartment consists of one bedroom with walk-in closet, a vaulted living room, a large bathroom with sauna, and a large balcony overlooking a private courtyard. It is available from August 15th but, if necessary, an earlier move date can be negotiated. Included in the rent is a queen size bed, dresser, desk, chair, rocking chair, day bed, lounge chair and lamps. Rent is 7 000 SEK per month. Not included is electricity, cleaning, and internet. On average, noting the fluctuating use of electricity during the year, rent is about 7 500 SEK in total. The apartment is professionally cleaned every three weeks. Washing machine and dryer are located on the second floor. The loft is part of a large house (187 sqm) which is shared by a family and another professional. Therefore, it is a semi-private space. The first floor is shared space for everyone in the house with a large kitchen, a living room (with kakelugn), large dining room and a more informal dining room. You will also have access to the courtyard in the back of the house which is perfect for bbqs. There is a family living in the house with two kids (ages 3 and 6). As a tenant, you will be interacting with them on occasion in the common spaces and as we do organise meals together occasionally. Therefore, we are looking for someone who will enjoy being in and understand what it means to be in this type of environment. We prefer to rent out to professionals and the house is not to be considered a location for parties. The first floor, as common space, is thoroughly cleaned and tidied every day. The process will be a phone call, followed by a visit/interview, and then a final decision from a pool of applicants. A contract will then be signed based upon a suggested contract from a Swedish renters association and a one month deposit will be required.
