You need to be studying at the UNIVERSITY or accepted to Erasmus Available between August 25th - June 15th. STUDENTS KONSERVHUSET is home to 14 international and swedish students from Campus Gotland or Erasmus. ABOUT US KONSERVHUSET is an old can-factory anno 1900, last year we made it a student-house We have a great garden on the back of the house appr. 8 000 sqm, here you may grow your own vegetables or flowers, play soccer or barbecue. GETTING HERE KONSERVHUSET is situated in the postal area of Visby. If you have a car we can provide parking by the house. A monthly bus-card is included in the rent. Bus nr 20 takes about 9-12 min from/to Visby Östercentrum. Our bus stop (TORS) is a 1 min walk from the house. From Östercentrum you may walk to Campus 8 min or catch another bus nr 90. We have had students bike 15 - 30 min depending on physics. There is also a small beautiful pilgrimroad to Visby from our house instead of the big road Taking a taxi here is 240kr with TAXI GOTLAND. STUDENTEVENTS Every semester we invite all students at KONSERVHUSET to a joint dinner, last spring we also went bowling This coming May or June our students have a pre-summer dinner & party at our Kafé KONSERVHUSET, each student get to invite 3 friends GROCERIES & HOMEDELIVERY COOP by the bus-stop ÖSTERCENTRUM in Visby or if you share a car-ride: ICA MAXI, COOP or WILLYS which are the huge shops about 6 min away. COOP VISBY has homedelivery 3 times every weekday, this can be ordered online for 99 kr. You may team up with flatmates and split this fee Our neighbour is a farmer who has a tiny shop with organic vegetables, the tomatoes are amazing CHURCH We have a beautiful old church BRO KYRKA in BRO take the bus or 5 min by bike, maybe walk SWIMMING / CLIMBING / PAINTBALL / TENNIS / VOLLEYBALL / BASKETBALL / GOLF we have a beautiful old chalkmine for swimming, in a 20 min walk (5 min by bike). There is an adventurecenter in a 6 min walk where you can go do above mentioned activities as a group: www.torsgardaventyr.se please contact them to get the opening hours You may play at GOTSKA GK in a 10 min car-ride from the house. RENT For private studentrooms 10 - 15 sqm (1 student per room) in shared apartments (3-4 students per apartment) the rent is 2650 kr - 2950 kr per month. For private apartments (1 student per apartment) of 16 - 35 sqm the rent is -kr per month. (for 2 students or couple in private 1 bedroom apartments the rent is a little bit higher). For shorter stays than 1 semester the monthly rent is a bit higher, contact us for details: photos, floorplans, info and lease.
